President's word

Welcome on the Lower North Shore!

The shoreline that stretches out along the Gulf of St-Lawrence, that is where we are, spread on 500 km of bays, lakes and rivers, 14 villages that have a majority of Anglophones and 2 Innu Communities.

The challenges are numerous in our area to name a few:
- the access to specialize health services;
- lodging resources for seniors living with a lost of autonomy;
- the access to transport facilities and adapted transportation;
- the outrageous costs because of isolation whether it is to access services    and/or all sorts of goods.

Even with these numerous challenges, we want to pursue our life here, the grand nature that surrounds us everyday fulfills and anchors us on its’ shores.

                                                                                                                Come visit and share with us this marvelous way of life.
